The 1st 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Event at Nirvana Strength

There’s a saying that a great teacher is the one who realizes that they are also a student. This 6-week long training program designed for the participants to train every day, 10 hours of Ashtanga Yoga/ Mysore practice per week. It focuses on maintaining and refining a personalized holistic movement practice; Personal experience, breath, introspection, and deep awareness embodied.

This program will expand upon 200-hour knowledge, review Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series postures, and work more closely with Second Series, Backbends, Hip Opening, Mobility, and Inversions. You are invited to focus on practice teaching and discuss more openly yoga teaching as a livelihood, profession, and life calling.

This program is approved by Yoga Alliance at the 300- hour level for national certification.

Marie Belle

Marie Belle Pérez Rivera, Ph.D., is an educator, artist, and practitioner of yoga and mindfulness. She currently resides in Washington, DC and travels and teaches yoga, mindfulness, and breathwork throughout the United States, Caribbean, Latin America, Spain, and Bali. Marie Belle has focused much of her professional and academic career on the roles that psychology, culture, and empowerment play in health, resilience, quality of life, and emotional well-being. She considers herself an anthropologist of movement: delving deeper into the heart and roots of classical yoga and meditation practice while also keeping a panoramic perspective that includes academic research in science, nutrition, and personal experience.


After the training, you will have the tools to deepen and advance your practice, also to develop and trust your intuition. As a result, you will gain the confidence to teach your students, and cultivate a practice space where they feel safe, supported, and seen. The aim is to create powerful & inspirational experiences for students & community.
